 | Casa Sulie, house in the sun, is located in the hills on the edge of the village of Cartosio. The altitude at 320 meters guarantees cooler nights in the summer. The bakery, also a grocer, is a 15-minute walk through vineyards, forest and meadows. Less than five minutes by car. Cartosio also has some shops and a wonderful restaurant. |
 | Acqui Terme, 15 minutes away, has several supermarkets and a ‘mercato’ on Tuesday and Friday and is the perfect place for shopping. Acqui Terme has thermal baths and good restaurants. The center is almost car-free. |
 | Genoa, Milan and Turin (photo) are only one to two hours away. These cities have beautiful museums and palaces. Nice and Monaco are also easily accessible. |
 | Explore the area by car, walking or by e-bike. Enjoy the views and the delicious cuisine. This is the area of the Langhe and the rolling vineyards of Monferrato. In the immediate vicinity are many old towns to visit such as Alice Bel Colle, Barolo, Alba and Asti. There are lots of possibilities to make beautiful walks e.g. in Parco Beigua in Sassello. |
 | Within an hour you can reach the beach of the Mediterranean. Colourful seaside resorts are Albisola and Varazze. |
